Treatment Package
A treatment package is suitable for clients who wish to work on a particular ailment or issue. It usually takes more than one treatment to have a lasting effect and for this reason, a package is available. The package consists of three sessions over three weeks (the first lasting 90 minutes to enable a history to be taken, the next two each lasting an hour). After this extra sessions can be booked as needed - this might be one session when you feel the need for a top-up, or you might like to continue the treatment on a weekly or fortnightly basis for more complex issues. Treatment packages are available for Tuning Fork, Drum and Mantra treatments, and you can have a combination of these too (for instance you might choose three tuning fork treatments or two drum treatments and a mantra treatment. Only one kind of treatment can be used in any session).

Distance Healing Package
Distance Healing packages are available for Mantra Therapy only and consist of three treatments. The first is face-to-face treatment lasting about 90 minutes and includes taking a full history. This is followed by two distance healing sessions over 2 weeks, which take place at pre-agreed times. The client may be supplied with a recording of the mantras which will be used (if appropriate) to listen to as the distance healing takes place, or be asked to find a quiet place to be still for the duration of the sessions. Arrangements for these sessions, as well as follow-up and feedback take place by phone.

Tune-Up
A general tune-up treatment is available using tuning forks and lasts around 60 minutes. During the session the focus will be on using the forks most suitable to promote general well-being. It can be used as a preventative treatment, or by those who feel they just need a little boost. Very relaxing! This is a single treatment and is not suitable for treating more complex issues or ailments. For this, a treatment package is required.

Chakra Balance
A Chakra Balance is a single treatment lasting around 90 minutes. It is performed using Tuning Forks and takes each chakra in turn, bringing it back to its optimum frequency.

Sonic Massage
Sonic Massage is a Drum treatment and is a wonderfully relaxing experience! This is a full body massage using just the vibration of the drum. The massage starts at the feet and moves over the body to the head, circles the body and begins again. A variety of rhythms are used and the treatment ends with a grounding session, using an array of different instruments, beginning with soft rainsticks and ocean drums and ending with more robust seed shakers. This treatment lasts an hour.

Journeying
Journeys are specialist Drum treatments and take several forms. Nicola offers a choice of journeys: Shamanic-style, Active, Ancestral and Past Life.

Shamanic-style journeys are offered with or without a short visualisation. The client does not play a drum, but instead uses the steady tempo of the drum beat played for them as a bridge to an altered state of consciousness and/or other realms. It can be used to explore an issue, or simply for the journey itself.

Active journeys involve both client and therapist drumming together either on the same large drum or on individual drums. They are offered with or without a short visualisation. The emphasis is not on how well a client can play, but on taking an active part in the treatment. Active journeys do not allow the client to go as deeply into the journey as the Shamanic-style, but are very good for those needing space to explore an issue, or wishing to gain insight and clarity.

Ancestral and Past Life journeys are very powerful, some say more powerful than Shamanic journeys. The client does not drum in this treatment. The client formulates and states their intention for this journey and uses the rhythmic drumming to enter a "no-time" space. This type of journey can be used to access and work through issues on an ancestral level and from past lives. This is an advanced treatment.

All journeys end with a considerable grounding session. The treatment last around an hour.

Thousand Petal Chakra Activation
This is a wonderful Mantra treatment which deserves to be a special occasion. In the Vedic system, each chakra is depicted as a lotus flower with varying numbers of petals. Each petal has a Sanskrit letter/syllable assigned to it. During this Activation, the syllable of each petal is chanted in turn, beginning with the first petal of the Root chakra and ending with the last petal of the Brow/Third Eye Chakra. This is done twenty times (totalling one thousand petals). This treatment activates every petal of every chakra, and chanting all one thousand petals activates the Crown chakra. This treatment last around an hour.

Gayatri Mantra: Spiritual Growth Treatment
The Gayatri Mantra is said to be the Mother of all Mantra, and is certainly amongst the most powerful mantras. The syllables in this mantra are said to have a positive effect on the body's energy centres and chakras. Legend tells that Gayatri practitioners can recognise each other from the glow that surrounds them. This mantra is believed to remove the obstacles to our spiritual growth and development. There are two versions of this mantra and it seems most choose the shorter (less difficult) version. However Nicola uses only the full version of the Gayatri Mantra in this treatment. It is a wonderful treatment to receive, and another of our "special" sessions which should be seen as more of a ritual than a treatment. This session lasts around an hour.

Intensive 60 Day Treatment

There are times in many people's lives when an emotion becomes so consuming that it prevents that person moving on in life. If you find yourself stuck in a pattern and wish to change, this may be the treatment for you. It is used to remove a holding pattern and can be both empowering and enlightening. Examples of emotions that can be worked on are anger, grief, sadness, mistrust, pride, fear, lust and jealousy. However, this is not an exhaustive list so if you would like to work through something not listed here, please ask. This treatment package is not for the faint-hearted. It takes commitment from both the client and therapist to be successful. For 60 days, the therapist chants a full mala (108 repetitions) of a mantra twice a day on behalf of the client. During the first six weeks, there is also one face-to-face session a week. There are three parts to this programme – 20 days of removal (to remove the unwanted pattern), 20 days of addition (to aid in the adoption of a more positive energy pattern) and 20 days of soothing (a peaceful mantra acting as a soothing balm).

For those who are not able to take advantage of this programme, for whatever reason, less intensive re-patterning work can be done in through the treatment packages above.
