Sound Therapy - Tuning Forks

Tuning Forks are a very effective tool in Sound Therapy. They are flexible, allowing the therapist to get straight to the root of an issue, or to give a more general treatment.

 

What Happens in a Tuning Fork Treatment?

Nicola uses Chakra Sound Tuning Forks; there is one fork for each chakra (tuned to each chakra's frquency) and one fork which is tuned to the Earth's frequency.

Several forks may be used at once. They are chimed and then held in your energy field. The exact forks, the length of time they are in your field and where in the field they are held is all decided by your body using kinesiology. The treatment itself is very relaxing.

Tuning Fork Therapy is flexible in that it can be used to give a general treatment for well-being (a general "tune-up" if you like) or it can be used to work directly on the root cause of an issue. Tuning Forks are also very good for treating "holding patterns".

A holding pattern occurs, typically, after an event or experience and is reinforced over time by that person and others around them. It can be thought of us as a limiting belief or a self-fulfilling prophecy. A holding pattern my not be identified until it has become strong enough to manifest in the mental or physical energy levels. Someone with a holding pattern may be heard to say things such as "I can't ..", "I knew I would be useless at ...", "I'm ugly/fat/skinny ...". Holding patterns can also manifest in behaviour such as repetitive actions or body language. A holding pattern can be viewed as resticted energy. Tuning Forks can be used to help expand this energy and help release the client from their holding pattern.
